Our MISSION
We are working to end childhood hunger in Caroline County.
Hungry children struggle to learn and consistently under-perform their peers. This has lifelong implications that limit their potential. Ensuring that our children have access to the nutrition they need will help them grow up to be healthy and productive members of our community.
Backpack program
Caroline County Public Schools provides children in need with backpacks filled with food every Friday. This gives kids the nourishment they need to arrive at school alert and ready to learn on Monday. Funds raised by Food for Learning help support the Backpack Program and/or summer meals programs.
